Preschool Adventure is an application created for iPhone and iPad, which can be used for kids that are between two years and six. The application is better used when the games or the programs are shown on a bigger screen, thus on the iPad’s screen. I simply can’t see the iPhone as the source for my child to learn the shapes. Instead, the iPad is the best tool for that, because of its larger screen and its touchscreen.
What will your child learn if he will use this application. First of all, he will learn what are the colors, thanks to some little games which will teach him what are the colors of the objects around him and also what shapes those objects have. The application, as long as the child progresses into knowing the app and in his age, will combine the games that are stored inside it, to create an even more attractive environment for the kid.
The children must understand English in order to use this app, so sorry for all the non-English speakers out there. After learning the shapes and the colors, the child will be ready to count from 1 to 10 in an easy and fun way. There is no application better than this one that will help your child learn how to count. The sound made by the app, the colors and the whole interface is amazing. I would want to use this app not only because it is great for children, but because I want to enjoy it, along with my kid. Seeing the images of the app, a little screenshot of what the app can do, made me fall in love with it.
There is an Artist section in this application, from where your kid is going to learn a bit about music, the musical notes, a bit about painting and how to combine the colors to form other colors and so on. You should take your kid a painter toolkit, so that he will do this for real, not only digitally. Who knows, maybe you will discover another Picasso.
The kid will also learn the parts of the human body with this app. There is nothing more simpler than that. He will not learn about small parts of the body, but about the hands, feet and so on.11
